- Mustapha Ouafik is the Head of Client Delivery, Australia & New Zealand (COO), Securities Services. In this role, he leads operational teams, driving efficiency, optimising processes, and managing complex client transformations while excelling in top-tier change programs.
With over 30 years of industry experience, Mustapha joined BNP Paribas in April 2006. He has held various leadership roles, including Global Head of Data Administration, and served on the Executive Committee for Global Services Operations in Chennai. He also led the Global Operating Model supporting Pricing, Asset Creation, Corporate Action, Hedge Funds and OTC Valuation.
In July 2014, Mustapha was appointed the Global Chief Operating Officer for Trustee and Depositary activities at Securities Services in Paris. As a key member of the senior management team, he supervised and managed a diversified portfolio across 16 Securities Services operational locations.
Mustapha holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Marketing, with Honours from the Institut Supérieur d’Economie de Mons.
